These pants do it all. They keep you dry under any conditions. You could literally jump in water and your shorts or pants underneath will be dry once you get out. They dont breathe however so if the sun starts shining while you have these on. You’ll start sweating. They break wind if your riding a bike, so wind doesn’t go through the pant. They keep you really warm. Good solid material obviously, (columbia). I am from Oregon so its great to represent Columbia.Good overall pants for the price. These are like 40 bucks at REI. Just so you know
